Cookie Policy

Last updated: 1 June 2026

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on tashiparis.com, under the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC, the GDPR, and the Italian Data Protection Authority's Guidelines on cookies (10 June 2021). In short: this site uses no profiling or tracking cookies, so no consent banner is required.

1 · What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. 'Similar technologies' include local storage and session storage, which a browser can use to store information. They can be 'technical/necessary' (needed to operate the site) or 'profiling' (used to track behaviour, usually for advertising). Only profiling cookies require prior consent.

2 · Cookies used by this site

This site sets no first-party tracking cookies and no third-party advertising or profiling cookies. There are therefore no profiling technologies for which consent would be required, and no cookie banner is displayed.

3 · Technical / functional browser storage

For the site to function, a small amount of data is kept in your browser's local/session storage: your language preference (so the site loads in your chosen language) and short-lived interface state (for example a brief you simulated in the capability section). These are strictly necessary, set without consent as permitted by law, never shared, and not used to track you. They persist only in your browser and you can clear them at any time.

4 · Analytics (cookieless)

I use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. It is privacy-friendly and cookieless: it measures anonymous page-view counts and approximate, non-identifying signals, and does not build a profile of you or follow you across other sites. Because it sets no cookies and performs no profiling, it does not require consent.

5 · Third-party services

If you click the booking link, you are taken to Cal.com, a separate service that may set its own cookies under its own policy once you are on its site. Web fonts are self-hosted at build time, so no third-party font provider receives a request from your browser or sets cookies.

6 · Legal basis and why there is no banner

Technical and functional storage relies on the legitimate need to provide a service you requested and is exempt from consent under Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the ePrivacy Directive. As the site performs no profiling, the consent requirements of the Garante's cookie Guidelines do not apply.

7 · How to manage or disable storage

You can block or delete cookies and clear local/session storage at any time through your browser settings (usually under Privacy or Security). Doing so will simply reset your language preference and interface state and will not otherwise affect the site.

8 · Changes

If the site ever introduces cookies that require consent, this policy will be updated and an appropriate consent mechanism will be added beforehand. The current version and date appear at the top of this page.

This policy reflects the technologies this site actually uses at the date shown. It should be reviewed whenever new third-party tools are added and, where appropriate, confirmed with a qualified professional.
